This year went by so fast and so much has changed. We moved to Monterey (beautiful), our Peach girl lost her eyesight, and unfortunately, we lost our LeBronnie. It was very unexpected which made it even harder.
LeBron had the biggest personality for such a little guy. He was easily bored by going for a walk, even in our new surroundings. His idea of a good time was to go shopping. Why? Because he loved meeting people. Just give him a second look and he was all over you asking for attention. He just ate it up. And if you stopped to pet him, his little tail would wag like crazy and he’d climb halfway up your leg. There’s no question that this was a very painful loss, but he will always be remembered for his huge personality.
He was a wonderful example of why it’s so great to adopt shelter dogs. All three of our dogs came from a shelter and each has a very unique personality. So, if you are thinking of getting a pet for someone for Christmas, please consider getting one from a shelter. You’ll be saving a life and making a new best friend.
LeBron also inspired me to create some designs using his adorable face. If you like them, share them with others. He was quite the photogenic boy. You’ll find them on https://www.zazzle.com/cold_nose_design. So go hug your doggies and enjoy them while you can!
